The band was founded in 1996 in Århus, 2nd largest city of Denmark.
Nephew has released four studio albums, Swimming Time (April 2000), USADSB (June 2004) and Interkom, Kom Ind (October 2006) and recently Danmark Denmark (June 2009) to wide critical acclaim. Apart from concerts and albums, Nephew likes to collaborate and remix other artists. Among others they've done so with Timbaland, and the German band Polarkreis 18.

For saatan, hvor står man igen midt i noget så uendeligt stort denne sommer, at jeg egentlig havde sagt til mig selv at jeg ikke ville forsøge at sætte ord på det, før engang bagefter... Men denne sommer ender aldrig helt.. Jeg har ikke ord for alt det den har bragt med sig, men jeg synes det føltes rigtigt at skrive, at det - ligesom det altid har været - netop er så rigtigt, så uendeligt vigtigt og meningsfyldt at være en del af noget så smukt og stort. Det bliver med en satans ubeskrivelig fornemmelse af vemod at slutte denne sommer af, dog velvidende man har fået noget med sig, der altid vil hænge fast.. Vi ses til Bork og Skanderborg, til dén fornemmelse... :)
Jeg er rigtigt tilfreds med den måde i styre bussen, det var så skønt at smage hvad i har kært ,for Skive,Nibe og Løkken var alt det bedste jeg fik lært, glæder mig til i vender tilbage efter en velfortjent ferie, og så må jeg lige som Kurt komme forbi Skanderborg, for jeg glæder mig allerede til at det igen kør' som smurt.

Jeg vil starte med at sige et par sætninger om jeres ellers så nydelige dans med Wong Boys; Det var noget af det mest underholdene jeg længe har set! You guys shaked it! ... Vi var nogle stykker der håbede på at kunne nå op foran til Nephew, dér tog vi fejl. Men hey, jeg må alligevel konstatere, at man i midten af mængden også kan have den vildeste koncert. Så tusind tak for at give os en cool lørdag aften på Nibe Festival :-)
