The event will take place on Saturday, May 23, 2009 at The Family Life Center located in Staten Island, NY from 6pm to 10pm
The prizes for the competition are as follows:
1st place:
$250.00 cash or 5 hrs of studio time with famed and accredited producer of Christian/R&B/and Hip Hop music. Glen appears on albums with Dr. Dre/Tyrese/3LW DeLaSoul and many other artists.
2nd place:
$150. 00
and a trophy
3rd place:
$ 100. 00
and a trophy
The event will be covered by SICTV (Staten Island Community Television) channels 34/35 & 56/57 and also be featured in the Staten Island Advance Newspaper. News reporters from Staten Island NY1 have also been invited to attend the event.
Interested performers may enter by participating in a live audition on the following days.

The auditions will be held at Rhema House of Prayer and Deliverance located at 22 Wave Street in Staten Island, NY 10304 from 4pm to 7pm.
Auditions are on a first come basis and will begin on time and end promptly.
Auditions are closed to the public and are for participants only!!!!!!
All participants must perform a musical selection up to 5 minutes max!!!
There will be a panel of experienced musicians and choir directors that will determine who will be selected to compete in the Showcase. The competition will be judged by an additional panel of different experienced, recording artist, choir directors and songwriters.
This competition excludes any performer/s that is currently signed to a record label. If you are selected to perform in the Showcase a small entry fee is required.
