born of violence and sadness, the music attempts to bridge what is soft and heartfelt and what is real and terrible. the neptune society evokes under certain circumstances a beautiful madness. the beauty is in confessional tone, paired with virulent music both pretty and haphazard. rock and roll is a display of romance and terror. in its expression, this music, this dimension of vulnerability can take a life of its own. this life carries a burden and a wish. the burden is the painful honesty. the wish is to touch every heart heard. the object, or direction of the neptue society is to revel in heartache and break while vieing against the gods for justice. the neptune society displays the emotive qualities of humanity, at the same time as working beyond in a sort of mystical means.
