PLEASE NOTE~MY "TOP FRIEND" list rotates for clues about who is coming to the ATL or WHERE & WHO we’re going to visit, for the curious.
Rambler, word coach, I’m a slam ma’am for Art Amok! Atlanta, host of Cliterati for 7+ years, regular at Java Monkey & Charis, The Spot & Mocha Match and I’ve curated other art projects. I’m from Atlanta now, but also from Philly, Pitman, New Jersey, (parts of northern germany)& Hadley, Mass. Asheville, NC is where I think I want to end up.I’m like that Ani piece about looking at my skin as where I’ve been. I believe in punk as a way of life, more than just a fashion. I believe in DIY and creating spaces for people & the work they do in art. I don’t have much tolerance for inflated egos-- it’s ALL about the words & the voices in a room, speaking & being heard. The people I love to meet are everyday heros and mess-ups, people who are good to waitstaff, and people who create room for others.
