About me:
I like fire.
I am a ringleader, a student, a trickster, a daredevil, a dreamer. I have grand fantasies of pyrotechnics and infernos. I'm going to learn how to fly. I am, watch me! I am never safe but that is okay. I still have peace and fear to fall back on when dreams seem far away. I am far from home, I am looking for home, I am pulling up roots and exploring. I look for shortcuts everywhere and they usually take me the scenic route. I couldn't run away to join the circus so I started my own. I'm much stronger and smarter than you've given me credit for but I set that trap well. I spent years convinced that because I thought I wanted everything, that I really didn't know what I wanted. I realize now that I do want everything and once I get it I usually have more than enough to pass around the circle. I'm a pack animal and my pack is growing. I wear my hat backwards because even if I'm facing the wrong direction my hat, or maybe it's your hat, can help me get back. It may seems like smoke and mirrors but join me for a bit, if you can catch me.

We will be having a work weekend party at the KOIPOUND on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th.
We will be providing charcoal for the grill, some food, and some drinks for all who attend. We will also provide crash space for those out of towners that want to come finally check us out. We hope that this can be a fun productive weekend with lots of laughs, food, drinks, and fellowship. Hope to see you there, but please respond so I can get enough food and drinks, as well as find you a place to sleep.
We will be working on the floors upstairs. We will be working on the courtyard cleanup. Possibly putting up drywall in the upstairs as well if we have enough people.
FLOORS need to be sanded, sweeped, and all nails need to be tapped in again if they are sticking up at all. Then on another day we will finish them with polyurathane.
COURTYARD needs to be picked up. All trash in one pile. Metal scrap needs to be taken to the scrap yard. Wood needs to be stacked. Garden finished. More fish painted on the ground. That should be it, but is a huge undertaking in itself.
DRYWALL needs to be put up in the upstairs.
We need as many people as possible. This is a huge amount of work, but I feel we can do it if we put our minds, hearts, and body's into it. Please contact April, Carrie or myself for more info on helping.
hey... sorry i didn't make it to staff night. hope your not upset, i was really bummed after last night, i realized after talking to Allison, yesterday, that today is my last chance to make standard, or i get cut from the team. i cried all way home and most of the night, thinking of just how much i love the job and all you guys. i didn't think i would get that upset, but i guess i'm attached to you guys already! the only thing i can do is hope and pray that i make it tonight, so i can stay. i didn't know it was so close to the wire! anywho, i will see you later, don't be mad i didn't show, i was a sappy mess and being around you guys, thinking it might be my first and last staff night with the crew would have made it worse! see you around 1:00 :)
