Versione italiana I Nergal nascono, nel 2000 come band trash-metal, da un’idea di Simone Di Patti (batteria), Fausto Caravello (chitarra) e Fabio Buffa (chitarra e voce). Amici da sempre, suonano insieme sin da quando hanno iniziato. Dopo diverse modifiche alla line up del gruppo, si arriva alla formazione definitiva che vede: Fabio Buffa alla voce, Gabriele Volpetto alla chitarra ritmica, Simone Di patti alla batteria, Fausto Caravello alla chitarra solista e Saverio Scuderi al basso. Dalla nascita del gruppo ad oggi i Nergal maturano tre demo-cd: 1.Nel novembre 2004, i Nergal danno vita alla prima demo-cd dal titolo Il principio, che contiene i brani: Non ci crediamo; Fighting; Il principio; Quella rabbia che c’è e Momento. 2.Nel dicembre del 2006, nasce il singolo Mare Aperto, brano successivamente riproposto all’interno della seconda demo-cd, nata nel febbraio del 2007, dal titolo Oltremare, contente i brani: Mare aperto; I’ll see you on the road e A pugni col niente. 3.Nel novembre del 2009, viene registrata la terza demo-cd, dal titolo omonimo al nome del gruppo (Nergal) che ripropone i brani contenuti in Oltremare in aggiunta ai due nuovi brani titolati: Imparerò dove andare e Una serata mondiale. Dal 2000 ad oggi, i Nergal suonano dal vivo nei locali e nelle piazze in giro per la Sicilia. Hanno partecipato a manifestazioni artistiche quali: “Politeama festival", “Palermo crush test”, selezioni “Primo Maggio tutto l’anno”, “Festa de L’unità”, “ShowNoProfit”, “Monreale rock festival”, “RockPalumba”, “Melodie e territorio”, manifestazioni ufficiali S.I.A.E, concerti organizzati da enti locali (Croce Rossa Italiana; Movimento umanista di Palermo; Circuito culturale “Quarta Parete”). Tutto questo avviene con un background di esibizioni live nei locali della movida siciliana, per citarne qualcuno: Zsa Zsa Mon Amuor, Agricantus, Blow up, Ass. Cult. Litania, Gatto nero jazz club, Basilicò pub, Prima serata pub, Lido Sea side, Baraka (Ag), Glamour (En), S.Cristobal (En), Strike (Ct). La band è attualmente a lavoro su nuovi brani che presto daranno vita ad una nuova demo, con l’intento di raggiungere l’obbiettivo di un mastering finale da proporre alle Labels nazionali ed internazionali. Presentation Hello, we are a band called Nergal, the name comes from an ancient Babylonian god. We play an Italian rock very original and powerful. Our sound is very unusual in Italy, because we have been influenced both from Italian names like Vasco Rossi, Ligabue, Negrita, and from international names like U2, Metallica, and many others… all this have permitted us to get the sound we like, creating a project in which we still believe. Our demo contains 5 tracks actually recorded at home and this the reason of our imperfect quality. However, we hope you like our project and waiting for an answer we are still working on it. Biography Our band called Nergal, was born in 2000 as a trash-metal band, from an idea of Simone Di Patti (drummer), Fausto Caravello (Lead guitarist), Fabio Buffa (rhythm guitarist). They have begun to play at same time and since they have started, they have never stopped to play all together in perfect harmony. Just some months later even Alessandro Correra (bass guitarist) had arrived. Two years after, having a lot of rehearsals and playing our music everywhere, we decided to attend several lessons to well-known music teachers of Palermo. This improving have permitted us to create our first song “il Principio”, in which Fabio decided to become the singer of the band, temporary leaving the rhythm guitar. That was the first time for us, and it is easy to get our inexperience at that time, paying attention to the quality of the sound, but on the other hand, the message we would sent was very appreciated from the audience. Looking for a rhythm guitarist, we have found in Gabriele Volpetto, a good friend, rhythm guitarist and writer, just what we were looking for! With the song “il principio (written by Simone Di Patti)” and other four songs named: Non ci crediamo; Fighting; Quella rabbia che c’è; Momento; (all written by Gabriele Volpetto), we recorded our first demo-project called “ il Principio (the Beginning)”. After that great experience, we have tried to introduce the female voice of Dilva Vaglica to the chorus, and with this new sound, we begun to play in several live events like: “Palermo Crush test”; selections of “Primo Maggio tutto l’anno”; “Festa dell’unità 2006”; “ShowNoProfit 2006”; in live concerts organized by social groups of the city of Palermo and always still playing in many pubs of the city (Zsa Zsa Mon Amuor, Agricantus, Blow up pub, Pub Litania, Gatto nero pub, Basilicò pub etc. In December of 2006, Nergal decided to participate to the event “1° Trofeo Politeama festival”, proposing their new project with the song “Mare aperto”, which has earned a notable success. One year after, in the 2007, the band has recorded their best demo-project, titled “Oltremare”, which contains the songs: Mare Aperto; A pugni col niente (written by Gabriele Volpetto); I will see you on the road (written by Fabio). This new project, very appreciated by the audience, is actually transmitted in local radios and of Palermo. After some problems with two components, during the summer of 2007, the band has changed line-up, eliminating the female voice and introducing a new bass player instead of the old one. This new component is Saverio Scuderi, a very good bass player and a friend who has brought a new energy to the band. This new energy has permitted us to create new demo-project, which should be titled “Sogno di un volo libero”, actually just a work in progress… this new inspiration has allowed us to think more bigger than before and has given us the possibility to make new experiences, like playing in local tv-programs and out of our city. Actually, we are still following our dream of becomimng a big band, playing every time and everywhere, improving our qualities and our concept, looking for an occasion which could change our lives!

Viaggio a Messina Ciao ragazzi, scrivo per tutti coloro che ci conoscono, per tutti i nostri fan o semplicemente per chi è solo curioso. Oggi siamo stati a Messina per le audizioni del programma "Radar" il cui casting era formato da Massimo Cotto e Franco Zanetti che purtroppo oggi non c'erano. Siete andati a fare un buco nell'acqua penserete.........e invece ogni giornata passata con i mitici Nergal è di una bellezza sbalorditiva. Tra giocate a carte, canzoni e cazzate varie il viaggio di 2 ore e mezza all'andata così come al ritorno è volato. Inoltre l'audizione l'abbiamo fatta lo stesso con Mario Ansaldo di Doctor Studio che oltre ad aver lavorato con grandi artisti (rimando a voi il contatto su www.doctorsounds.com) e un'ottima persona che ci ha dato consigli utilissimi in una fresca aria messinese proprio sotto il duomo. Insieme a lui abbiamo passato alcune ore e sinceramente ne è valsa la pena! Adesso siamo nuovamente a casa, naturalmente le soste agli autogrill erano un mix di risate e casini vari, insomma da Nergal proprio! Tra qualche settimana dovremmo tornare a Messina per fare le audizioni con i due giornalisti. Il brano che portiamo è tra i nostri più belli ovvero I'll see you on the road! Speriamo in un pò di fortuna che da sempre ci manca....... A breve metteremo le foto di questo viaggio! Ottimismo oggi abbiamo imparato...............ah ah ah! Ciao ragazzi!
