Neridah (pronounced: Nair-ah-da) is an extremely diverse singer/songwriter trained in all genres of music. Years of study in both classical & contemporary singing along with extensive live experience and innate passion make this artist a joy to watch, matched with a voice that will take your breath away - a performer who knows her craft!
In her career to date, Neridah has had the privilege to work with some of Australia's iconic performers: John Farnham, Chong Lim, Rick Price, David Hirschfelder, John Foreman and original members of Little River Band - Derek Pellici & Roger McLachlan. She's also worked with Sir Bob Geldof, Matthew & Gunnar Nelson (Ricky Nelson's sons) and other international artists.
As well as writing jingles, session recording, singing live on stage & television, Neridah is also a qualified dancer, actress & vocal instructor. She has performed in several stage productions and television commercials. Appearing on the Nine Network hosting the children's shows "Cartoon Company" & "C Company" in Brisbane, Neridah then moved to Melbourne when offered a small acting role on Network Ten's "Neighbours". She's also featured on a number of obscure independent films which eventually got her more involved in being 'behind the scenes' for a short time.
A singer/songwriter by trade, Neridah is currently writing a new batch of songs with the sounds of alternative pop, electronica & trip-hop. These original tracks have been recorded @ GiggleHouse Studios & produced/engineered by Grant Wallis. All songs have been written by Neridah with 'Cold' being co-written with Grant.
A songwriter with a voice that's silky smooth, yet full of power with amazing dynamics - Neridah's technique is perfectly balanced with 'feel'. Her songs are catchy with wonderful melodies and lyrics that take you on a journey of your own thoughts on life and love.
"I enjoy expressing my thoughts & experiences through the interpretation of music. It's such a wonderful outlet to not only release, but share what I've culminated in my everyday life to date" - Neridah

"...it’s like Kid Strange and Urban Blitz from the Doctors of Madness at their most morose played Overhang Party, or a mogadon’d Peter Hammill jamming with Van Der Graaf’s Graham Smith. Elsewhere, the singular desolation is most reminiscent of the most down down moments of Nico’s THE MARBLE INDEX or even of Jesse Colin Young’s The Youngbloods at their most mercurial. But the Scrapes are still so original their music ultimately don’t sound like nobody but themselves." Julian Cope
