'NERKELWERKS' - ... On stage is the strangest thing I've seen in my life, & I've seen a few ...the man repeats clickety-popbeats w/ his teeth & tongue. He grabs a busted guitar & pounds the top. He shakes a rattle. He bashes a cymbal. Just then, a long-haired folky of international fame walks on stage w/ his guitar to join the bizarre, one-man tribal symphony. Yes, that's Juno-award winner Bill Bourne singing & picking next to this mad maestro, Tippy Agogo. All that I could think of at the time was: Somebody should be recording this; this is magic.' - Scott McKeen, Edmonton Journal "...Tippy Agogo has become a multifacted musical powerhouse, a loop-happy singer, guitarist & junk percussionist whose on-the-fly improvisations are part scrap-yard sould, part psychedelic dream." - Alexander Varty, the Georgia Straight Oct '08 "... audiences have responded in various ways, some were comatose in their seats... others dancing like banshees." The Local, Sunshine Coast Jazz & Entertainment Society, Oct '08 (Creep forward is) "...eighteen unique tunes... from the 12-minute-long 'Myth of the Spanish Fly' to the goth rock of 'I-Arabesque'... no matter the genre, it's always slightly off-kilter in good ways." Stuart Derdeyne The Province, Vancouver, Oct '08
