I Formed Nervasystem in the mid-90's, realeasing tunes on the the early Psychedelic Trance scene on labels such as Matsuri Productions, Phantasm, Psychic Deli, Elektrik Orgasm & Process Productions. I've played live & DJ'd around the world at parties in the UK, France, Portugal, Israel, Japan & Australia. Nervasystem started as a collaboration between myself & Darren Beale, subsequently Darren left to pursue Drum & Bass as Decoder, & since has hit mainstream success with Kosheen, I then collaborated with Tsuyoshi Suzuki, before going it alone for a while & then in 1999 i worked on a collaborative Album with the artist known as Aether (Alexis Cousins), the album "Mama Matrix Most Mysterious" has been described as some of the most original & trippingly psychedelic electronic music ever set free into the material plane. I also collaborated with leading psy trance electronic mad wizard pioneer Process (Sean Williams) on some of the best of the early electronic psychedelia & our creative involvement working together has continued on & off through various projects to this day................Since then my output has been quite sporadic due to working in other genres (please check out the Mystery School Ensemble at artifactrecords.com- a jazzy collaboration between Process Sean , myself & a whole gang of very amazing musicians....)I've also been handling a slew of production work for other artists, but recently, due to recent visits to various parties & dancefloors, i have started to play around with Psy-Trance again, but be warned this is not train jumping "the latest sound" generic stuff, i have my own sound, & dont really fit into one type of trance music, but use found sounds & more organic textures, rather than just using synths or plugins......suffise to say it's still rather mind bending & will do the buisness on the dancefloor, just bring a fully paid up psychotropic passport for your journey into the weird zone.............
I'm currently looking for a good label to work with again & release some new material....some of which will appear on this page from time to time.......
