Nervestrain are a young Metal
Band which starter in 2005. The idea to form the band started in 1997 in Gavoi
(Sardinia), thanks to the friendship between Gianandrea
Maoddi and Marco Podda
having the same passion for the electric guitar and Heavy Metal. After various
problems, from the impossibility of finding a suitable rehearsal room as well
as other factors they managed to play for the first time in "Circolo
S'Istentu", thanks to the shared passion of Mauro
Medde (bass) and Max Fancello (drum). In 2005 the band found a stable
rhythm with the entrance of Tiziano
Buttu (Voice and Guitar) as well finding a suitable
rehearsal room. Therefore, in a few months they managed to prepare more than
20 covers songs (Metallica, Megadeth, Sepultura, Testament, Faith no More&133;)
to be sung in different locations and musical concerts. 1st November 2006,
the drummer Max decides to abandon the group due to musical differences, therefore
the band decides to replace him with Carlo Buttu. Also Mauro leaves the band in 2007 and was replaced on bass guitar by Gianni Sedda.
At this moment in time the band are writing different songs that they hope
to have registered in 2008.
BIOGRAFIA
I Nervestrain sono una giovane Metal Band nata nel 2005. Il progetto di formare una Band Metal nasce a Gavoi, nel centro della Sardegna, nel lontano 1997, grazie all’amicizia tra Gianandrea
Maoddi e Marco Podda
accomunati dalla stessa passione per la chitarra elettrica e l’Heavy Metal. In seguito, dopo innumerevoli problemi dovuti all’impossibilità di trovare una sala prove adeguata ed altri componenti con la loro stessa passione, riescono ad esibirsi per la prima volta nel “Circolo S’Istentu” , grazie all’adesione al progetto di Mauro Medde (basso) e Max Fancello (batteria). Nel 2005 la band trova un assetto stabile con l’ingresso di Tiziano
Buttu (Voice and Guitar) e grazie ad una sala prove adeguata. Così in pochi mesi riescono a preparare più di 20 cover (Metallica,, Megadeth, Sepultura, Testament, Faith No More…) da proporre in diversi locali e manifestazioni musicali. Il 1 Novembre 2006, il batterista Max abbandona il gruppo a causa di divergenze musicali; così la band decide di sostituirlo con Carlo Buttu. Nel 2007 anche Mauro lascia il gruppo e viene sostituito al basso da Gianni Sedda.

coloro che anche quando abbiamo suonato di merda hanno detto: "cavolo,
siete bravi!"
Inoltre venerdì 8 maggio, al Mabba (Via Cagliari 65, Villasor (CA)), suoneranno i Crimson Romance e i NightSight. Se ti fa piacere l'ingresso è gratuito e il concerto comincerà intorno alle 23.00 :)

vi invito anche questo giovedì al dual bar in via roma 129 per l'appuntamento con la musica di qualità, il tema di questa settimana saranno le cover, giusto per fare qualche esempio : smoke on the water in versione cubana , i radiohead in versione reggae, gli ac-dc in versione country , i nirvana in versione lounge , gloria gainour in versione rock etc etc
