The RnB songstress began singing at the age of 6 with her fathers band, joining the starlight choir(St. Matthew Baptist Church), and opening shows for local organizations. When she was 10 years old she was requested by the South Carolina Black Caucus, The NAACP,local churches, and the State Senators Convention to sing the National Anthem at their annual galas. Neesha was influenced by jazz, rnb, hip hop,gospel,soul and funk.At the age of 12 she was introduced to manager Cheryl Butler and joined the group Rain. The all girl trio was fortunate to grace the ears of many record executives. In 1995 she decided to launch her solo career with BlackWax Entertainment in Brooklyn,NY. Through out her journey she had the pleasure of working with Vincent Herbert(Black ground Records). In January 2007 she was introduced to Ova Tha Top Entertainment and began working on her very first album. August 2007 she had the opportunity of opening up shows for Swiss Beats and Yolanda Adams. Neesha's style can be compared to such artist as Tony Braxton, Aretha Franklin, and Mary J. Her sound can be characterized as good RnB.
