NEUROPRAXIA started in the fall of 2005. We wanted to start up one of the most brutal fucking bands out there. With influences from all areas of the metal spectrum, we are developing into a PORNO-GORE-GRINDING-CYBER-DEATH ASSAULT.

Twelve bands. Eight hours. One stage.
The first band to take the stage, Neuropraxia, this awesome band proved to be a thoroughly (un)pleasant surprise. Gory samples, pig squeals, blastbeats, gurgling gutturals and a crazed frontman wearing an apron of human faces, all laid over a sickening old-school Carcass groove, ensured that these filthy pornogrinders had no need to worry about getting lost in the crowd. This style of ultra-brutal grinding madness is rarely seen around this area; in fact, to my knowledge, Neuropraxia is the only such band in Philly. To my delight, I caught more than a few putrid whiffs of Devourment, Disgorge, and the rest of the Texan death metal horde in Neuropraxia's music.
