Who I'd like to meet: Other screenwriters and filmmakers
Well, I did notice that some of the BlueCat semi-finalists also had those same script selected as winners in other competitions, so maybe I'll try that too. I have a better version of my script developed now so it should read a bit better than it did.
Quite a few of the semi-finalists, including you, have such impressive credentials... already in the IMDB! I'm like the anomaly in the group (but happy and flattered to be included).
Thanks for the info on the other competitions. You answered my next question before I had a chance to ask it! :-)
My "Fly Flyers Flying" is an art film in which the two leads find commonality (and love) through a shared fascination with flying. The story makes heavy use of surrealism and flying symbolism.
Hi Irin! The wonders of Friend Finder! How are you? How is the production company going? I hope you got a lot out of the convention, I had a really good time meeting interesting people. I'm training to be a journalist now, still writing scripts on the side of course. Sarah
Whew...at least it's not just me. Page 43...not bad...I'm jealous. I was planning on hitting you up for a read once I'm done with the first act. Same offer here, anything you want some feedback on just ask. I can't handle the pressure! I'm gonna snap like a twig!! :P
OMG!! I'm never gonna finish this screenplay in time for the Feb workshop!! Can I borrow one of yours? LOL. Seriously...I'm stuck on page 25. ARGH!!! How are you doing???
Hey! I saw you placed as a Finalist for Blue Cat! Holy crap, that's amazing!!! Congrats! I'll keep my fingers crossed that you take it all the way home!!!
