I've been doing more reading and planning than actual writing these days. And learning, so much learning!

So, I got bold and entered the Sundance Screenwriters Lab competition too.
Did you?

Hey! Just saw your name in the semi-finalist list for the features competition too. One of each (short and feature-length). Congrats!

Although, I must say I've only had good things happen on Staten Island.

Are there any competitions that you recommend as being particularly worthwhile or valid?

Too sweet!

Well, I did notice that some of the BlueCat semi-finalists also had those same script selected as winners in other competitions, so maybe I'll try that too. I have a better version of my script developed now so it should read a bit better than it did.

Quite a few of the semi-finalists, including you, have such impressive credentials... already in the IMDB! I'm like the anomaly in the group (but happy and flattered to be included).

Thanks for the info on the other competitions. You answered my next question before I had a chance to ask it! :-)

My "Fly Flyers Flying" is an art film in which the two leads find commonality (and love) through a shared fascination with flying. The story makes heavy use of surrealism and flying symbolism.

And yours?

Well, let's see... I can answer this one:

BlueCat Semi-Finalists

Mine is "Fly Flyers Flying." It is the first draft of my second screenplay. I've got a better version now~

Hi Irin! The wonders of Friend Finder! How are you? How is the production company going? I hope you got a lot out of the convention, I had a really good time meeting interesting people. I'm training to be a journalist now, still writing scripts on the side of course. Sarah

Whew...at least it's not just me. Page 43...not bad...I'm jealous. I was planning on hitting you up for a read once I'm done with the first act. Same offer here, anything you want some feedback on just ask. I can't handle the pressure! I'm gonna snap like a twig!! :P
