BIOGRAPHY
"Not a musician, don't have any good music skill... I just know what I want and I do."
Neuter Lover started her music scene as a Bedroom Studio artist, she delivers a blend of Ambient and Shoegaze music with sound of computer programming and noise Guitar.
With her unique of vocal and music sounds, In 2005, Her demo was nominated for 15 finalists of FAT Awards 3 - 'Bedroom Artist of The Year' (by FAT Radio, FM 104.5). And the song 'Find' was published on DDT Magazine's compilation CD vol.4.
And as soon as she released her demos on the Internet, she was invited to be vocalist/songwriter of the duo band 'Acid Lily', founded by a japanese electronica artist. They produced music online and released the first EP on November 2005 with Spicy Disc records (thailand), then a self-released album in April 2006.
The end of the band came on November 2006 and they won FAT Awards 5 for 'Bedroom Artist of The Year'.
Now it's time for Neuter Lover to continue her own tunes!
Born 'Apichaya Chaipayom' in Thailand and grew up with various kind of music. Music always save her life whenever she depressed. So she learned to express her mind through songs in her early teens.
Always dream to LIVE on stage, In 1998, while studying Visual Communication Design at Silpakorn University, she started by joining a friends's band as a vocalist, then she and her 3 close girl friends formed an Alternative Rock band named 'Erotic Youth' (E.Y.) in 1999 and playing covers of Garbage, Cake, Lit, Pulp, even Hide (X-Japan). Their performance in university's festivals was spotlighted. But in 2001, when they graduated, the band ended because they has different point of dreams.
After working as a full-time Graphic & Multimedia Designer for 3 years untill she got a serious Nerve Tension from neck through arms, Apichaya resigned from the company to release the tension and started the new life as a freelance new media Designer and reached for her dream again.
Her music still stick in her soul, so she released them on her own.
