THE ARCHITECTURE OF RICHARD AND DION NEUTRA IN THE 21ST CENTURY
The firm celebrated it's 75th year in practice in 2001. As we go into our fourth quarter, it is important to reiterate the firm mission.
Committment to new projects — Conforming to LEEDS standards for sustainability and recyclability as well as energy efficiency both as to fossil fuels as well as human energy conservation. Dion carries on in the tradition established by his father in the '20s and later by them both in their practice.
Consultation Services — For new projects as well as consultation on restoration and conservation of existing Neutra projects are the backbone of the practice today. Preservation, not only of Neutra but all projects of value to our community.
Stewardship of the Neutra Institute for Survival Through Design: Acting as Executive Consultant to the Board, Dion continues to develop projects and programs for this 501 (c3) non-profit corporation.

nominated Neutra's Cyclorama Building as a National Historic Landmark; the highest level a building can achieve!
Yet, in May, 1999, the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation recommended to
DEMOLISH THE BUILDING!
New urgent letters are needed;
by the hundreds!
Even if you've written before, we need you to RE-SEND this letter again!
THIS IS URGENT AS THEY HAVE ALREADY TORN DOWN ONE SECTION OF THE BUILDING.

As a first step in presenting the results of several years of petition
signing, a volunteer is needed who can download and copy the names and
remarks of the 750 odd signers of Petition-1 on the Neutra Website. Copies
of these names will be laid on the desk of Senator Robert Casey in
Harrisburg, so this volunteer should arrange to have this document delivered
there asap.
