For over eleven years, Neutral Ground has been Manhattan's premiere gaming store. When Neutral Ground first opened its doors the majority of our customers were Magic players. Then one day Dungeons and Dragons players started showing up. A year or so later, the first networked computers were set up. With the growth of the gaming industry, came the growth of Neutral Ground. We moved into our current location a few years later, where we now have over 6,000 square feet of gaming space.
Neutral Ground's mission statement has always been to provide the best possible gaming experience to everyone that enters our store. We offer comfortable seating, a clean and friendly atmosphere, and a huge selection of snacks and drinks to enjoy while gaming. Our inventory of boardgames, miniature games, role-playing games, and collectible card games is unmatched in the city. In addition, we carry singles for Dreamblade, Magic the Gathering, Pokemon, Versus, UFS, and Yu-Gi-Oh! Recently, we added video gaming to our resume. Now you can come in and enjoy your favorite video games for X-Box, Game Cube, or PS2, for a very modest fee.
Running tournaments has always been in our blood, considering Neutral Ground is the child of Gray Matter Conventions, formerly New York Magic. (They're the ones who run all the Magic Pro-Tour Qualifiers in our area.) In fact, we run over 5 sanctioned Magic tournaments per week. In addition, we run at least 2 Yu-Gi-Oh! tournaments per week, and 2 Versus tournaments per week. And if that wasn't enough, we have organized play for Vampire the Eternal Struggle, Game of Thrones, UFS, Pokemon, and those are just card games! Although it should go without saying, OF COURSE we have organized play for Dungeons & Dragons, Wizkids games and Dreamblade!
