    Aw thanks! All of my family members that come up from Sac and Yuba City love the grounds and the old growth poderosas and tell me that none of their fairs are anything like ours. I can't compare because I've never been to another.

    Just got home from the first night of the fair! I've been entering things since I was around 7-8 years old and I have only missed one year. I always look forward to seeing my entries and getting the whole fair experience. Although, I must say the man that took in my photographs this year was really rather rude.
    :(

About me:

The Nevada County Fairgrounds is home to the Nevada County Fair, the Draft Horse Classic, the Country Christmas Faire, and a year-round RV park and campgrounds. Walkers and bicyclists also enjoy the Fairgrounds on a daily basis. The Nevada County Fair was named by the LA Times as one of the top 10 rural fairs in America and our local community has voted it the "Best Nevada County Event" for 9 consecutive years. Located on 100 acres, with almost 3,000 tall pine trees, the Fairgrounds is recognized as California's Most Beautiful Fairgrounds. We are located about an hour from Sacramento, in Nevada County, surrounded by the beautiful cities of Grass Valley and Nevada City. Visit us anytime!
