NEVER THE SUNSHINE has gone under many names since its birth in the late 80's. However the band has been heavily inspired by Black Sabbath since its inception. Nowadays NEVER THE SUNSHINE play an infectious mix of very heavy rock combined with blues, some psychedelia, and plenty of doom laden riffs, creating a style of music all its own, a style which the band calls SONIC DOOM. The members of the band pull influences from all over the musical map including the aforementioned Sabbath, early Metallica, Soundgarden, Monster Magnet, Iron Maiden, Pink Floyd, Kyuss, blues, classical and so on. You can hear the band's influences, but NEVER THE SUNSHINE doesn't sound like any of them. Look for some new self-released recordings from the band in the near future.
