Neville Longbottom has been through a lot in all his years at Hogwarts. Once Voldemort was defeated, he had some time to think about what he wanted to do with his life.
"Neville's Diary" is an effort of Neville's to cope with all the terrible things he experienced in his life. He chose to use his diary for inspiration and wrote some songs. But Neville was too shy to sing, so he enchanted his diary, and it turns out that book can wrock like nobody's business.
Neville chose Wizard Rocker Bryce Cone, of The Quaffle Kids, to help write the music and play the acoustic guitar. The outcome is sincere, heartfelt words from a tormented boy put to music.
"Neville's Diary" has been going for several months now, and Neville is just amazed by all the people that have come to listen. Of course, it's not as much as the big wrock groups, but he is happy with this minute form of celebrity.
Neville was asked to be a part of the Wrock compilation, "Wrock Against Bullying." And who has been bullied more at Hogwarts than Neville? So we put together an original tune called, "Draco is Stanko." The tune has been made exclusive to this compilation. Sorry, but it goes for a good cause. Please check it out.
Neville was also asked to be a part of a great compilation put together by Jarrod of Gred & Forge. It's called "Siriusly Smiling" and you can purchase it through I-Tunes. The song we provided is called "Pansy Looks Like a Dude," and is only available on this compilation. So if you desparately need to be singing "that chick looks like a dude" at the top of your lungs, then hit the I-Tunes link below and enjoy.
Bryce would have put up a picture for Siriusly Smiling, except he has no clue how to do it, so just hit the link below.
Thanks so much for accepting my friend request! Stephanie and the Quaffles is a brand new wrock band, so there's not too much up on my page yet, but please come on over and check it out! Hopefully I'll be getting lots of new songs up soon : )
I really love Neville's Diary! My favorite is probably At the Yule Ball. I really think you should make a cd for your songs, because I would totally buy it. Anyways, keep wrocking! xD
FINAL CALL. Just thought I'd try this one last time. I'm probably getting annoying by now, aren't I? Heh. Anyways, our absolutely FINAL auction is going to take place on July 1st. All proceeds are going to be sent to the Lesbian and Gay Fund of Colorado. So far, we've made plenty of money, but it's worth it to try to earn more! If you have absolutely ANY items you would be willing to donate to this cause, contact me. Even if you don't, might as well contact me too, so I know I'm not just being a nuisance. ;D Thank you so much! The LGBT appreciates it!
Hey guys, sorry to bother you (again!) lol. I'm just desperately trying to find some help for the upcoming auction. Anyone willing to donate. If you're interested, please let me know. :) If not, please let me know, too! Lol. And if you know anyone else, please spread the word! All the money I'm making is going to the Gay and Lesbian Center of Colorado. Thank you!
At my school, I am going to have a fundraiser in order to support the LGBT. (If you don't know what that means, it's the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender parties.) A few days ago was the Day of Silence, and I think it's a great kick off for this fundraiser. People are highly influenced by the power of music, and by the power of books. What does that mean? Wizard Rock. We are going to have a large get together where we are playing Wizard Rock music, watching Harry Potter, etc. All the money we earn is going to be donated to support these groups of people. If any of you have any clothing merchandise, or new - and affordable - c.d. 's, please message me, so I can purchase them from you and we can auction them off at this event! THANK YOU!
Yaay! That would be so awesome :) I love NC too! If I didn't "like" my job, I would move there. And the fact that I live relatively close (well, up to 8 hours) to places that host wrock shows makes me not want to move from here. I'll be able to go to 7 wrock show in June alone =)
It was nice talking with you on St. Patricks Day. I got there late, so I was bummed when I missed your set. I love your new CD! Neville Never Gets the Girl is very catchy. Also love She's So Evil. =] ~Shannon
*squeals* The new song is amazing! It's so nice to listen to it! And of course, I absolutely love the trumpet:D Wind instruments in wrock songs wrock so hard. I'm even trying to work on a song right now with my clarinet worked into it. <3
Hey, you should consider coming to play in NC. I was talking to Scott and we'd love to have you play here. I'm sure we could all chip-in and help you get here to play sometime in the summer :)
