About me:

Gallery X is a contemporary, cooperative art gallery of Visual, Performing and Literary artist members and volunteers. A non-profit, tax-exempt organization, Gallery X promotes a mission of cultural outreach through community partnerships, educational programs, and monthly exhibits. Gallery X is located at 169 William Street, in the heart of New Bedford's Upper William Street Arts District in the historic 1855 First Universalist Church.

Hours:
Wed. thru Fri. 11am - 5pm,
Sat. & Sun. 11am -3pm, and on AHA! Night, the second Thursday of every month, 5 -9pm with exhibits and programming.

Gallery X is available to rent for events, with two performance stages and a service kitchen. Gallery X is fully handicap accessible.

Exhibit your art in the Douglass Gallery! The walls of the Douglass Gallery are available to outside artists on a weekly basis for a reasonable fee. For more info and to schedule your exhibit or event, call 508-992-2675 or visit the website at www.galleryx.org.

    Hey there all of you at Gallery X. We're all ready to go on November 7th. We're hoping for and expecting another sell out like the May Showcase.


    Check out our myspace for more details on the bands and the show. Our lineup includes award winning songwriter and balladeer Michael Troy, Brooklyn NY's Ian Thomas, the recently returned Jeff and Benares, and the ever harmonious Maybees.
