About me:
The Sister City Film Festival is a day-long expo for independently produced short and feature-length films in historic downtown New Bern, North Carolina. The inaugural 2008 festival evolved from the New Bern Independent Filmmakers Conference, which began in 2003 as a project of the Forensic Society, a communication arts club at Craven Community College in New Bern.
The '08 festival was held on Saturday, May 10 at the Athens Theatre. Organizers have not announced plans for a 2009 festival, but those interested in joining the board of directors or volunteering can contact us through MySpace or via e-mail: newbernfilm@yahoo.com.
