TAG! NEWBORN KINGS have been rocking fans and venues across the New York/New Jersey metropolitan area for years. The band's energy, delivery and music appeals to audiences of all ages, including adults who are young at heart but disillusioned by much of the current trends in today’s music. Diverse enough to entertain crowds for hours performing popular rock and pop cover tunes, either acoustically or electrically, NbK got their start writing and performing original music in New York City where they still perform monthly. The band’s presence and charisma illuminate any venue whether the room is large and formidable or small and intimate.
Shortly after forming, Newborn Kings had the privilege of opening up for Atlantic recording artist Jewel on her "This Way" tour, playing such major venues as the Nikon Jones Beach Theater, Broward Convention Center and the Boston Fleet Center, winning them fans all along the East Coast. They later gained national exposure when they wrote and recorded the music for the Partnership for a Drug Free America, "Punk Kid" TV spot which aired nationally over 200,000 times on major TV stations. NbK then released their debut CD titled "From the Pavement" where their single "Ordinary Man" began charting spins on Jersey’s own WDHA radio.
Jagermeister hopped on board shortly thereafter, becoming a sponsor of the band helping create buzz and excitement with giveaways at all of the band’s shows and events. Finally, the band reached outer space on Sirius XM Satellite radio when their single “Wishing Well” became one of the programs most requested songs.
