Resorts Casino Hotel Atlantic City has established the Super Star Theater as the place to be for fast paced, intense LIVE MMA action. Resorts and New Breed Fighters have teamed up to produce one of the most spectacular nights of fun and entertainment one will find. ANYWHERE!!!
Saturday July 11th will mark the 4th rendition of Rumble at Resorts. It is a show that features 36 fighters representing 22 of the regions finest teams. Eighteen fights highlighted by one big Title Defense.
This fantastic card will feature at least 13 new fighters and six new teams making their NBF debuts. Fighters like Benny Diaz, Team Carvalho, Scott Hunning, NJMA and Sergio "The Savage" Silva.
There are exciting new teams the likes of: Bellmore Kickboxing, Elite BJJ and Vitor Shaolin Jiu Jitsu, just to name a few.
Manuel "The Mastiff" Azcona, Elite BJJ will be making his return against a bull they call "Fredo" from LVIRK.
We also have a nationally ranked Division 1 wrestler from Drexel. Steve "The Koncrete Kid" Mytych, Gracie/NEPA, will take on an extremely gifted fighter in Patrick Sabatini, Warrior Martial Arts. Fan favorite Jonavin Webb, Advantage Martial Arts, will be challenged by Jason Alcoba, Extreme Performance Martial Arts...
Tommy "The Lumberjack" Murphy, Infinite MMA will attempt to chop down Ed Carruthers, Advantage MMA
There will be many fantastic fights this evening. None will be better than our Middleweight Title Defense between Phil Doig, Modern Martial Arts and Dan Cion, Team Reckless.
Led by the silent but deadly Daryll Porter, Dan Cion has become one of the most explosive Champions NBF has to date. A great fighter who will be extremely hard to beat, however, John Potenza is a master strategist.
