"Resistance is an Australia-wide organisation of young people. We aim to build a mass radical youth organisation. We organise young people in struggles against sexism, racism, environmental destruction, attacks on workers' rights, attacks on students' rights, and every aspect of capitalist oppression. Through this process we help build a mass democratic socialist party that can unite all these struggles. Resistance is made up of young workers, unemployed, students, women, and young people involved in a huge range of campaigns and activities. We're involved in the environmental movement, the women's movement, the lesbian and gay movement, anti-racist campaigns, solidarity campaigns with struggles overseas, on campus, at schools, and in workplace and trade union campaigns. We organise our own campaigns on issues from sexuality to youth unemployment. And we distribute information on all the issues. Any young person (under 26) can join us. It's easy. Every week we organise meetings to plan our activities and organise our campaigns. We act with the enthusiasm of knowing that we're not submitting to the system, but we are learning and working together with other young people to change it. Feel free to come and talk to us, grab a copy of Green Left (a brilliant newspaper by the way). Or debate, we are open to discussion and don't forget, you may not agree with all our views, but together we can all work on a brilliant future.

Newcastle taught me a lot about resistance when i lived there...
Dropping by to share the news that my album is now available worldwide on its 20th anniversary. I had lots of support from the Hunter area in the past, so someone passing by here might be keen to know the news of this album's new release.
it sux that they want to knock down the skatepark, why dont they use them bulldozers to take down all the run down buildings in newcastle. i dont see how graffiti on a wall looks worce then a building thats home to squatters and/or junkies.. they even complained about graffiti on the old post office. never mind the fact that its a heritage building and its run down... dont worry bout that just worry about the graffiti... they have their prioritys wrong. the building across the road from the ducks nuts should be their number one priority, if u go in and go up the stairs the floor has giant holes in it, wont be long before some squatter breaks their neck walking through the top floor in the dark not to mention a woman could be dragged in their and be sexualy assaulted and noone would be able to see it no no its the graffiti that is dangerous..

Cool whats the corporation about? Hey i noticed you guys have Mr lash in your top friends. I was in a band called the shingles for a bit with him as the drummer but then he moved...anyway. Yeah hope all the protests work out good and hit us with any news you might have and stuff.
