The New Century Beatniks are long time Cleveland area musicians, with members having played in many local bands. The most notable of which was the band Love Affair who had a top 100 hit with the regional favorite "Mama Sez" . Members have also played in bands such as Stairway, the Millionaires, the Cleveland Boys, City Heat and Outta Dodge. They currently perform as a 3 piece and a 5 piece act, depending on the venue.
The New Century Beatniks have played venues all over Ohio, including the Berea National Rib Cook-Off. The members are all native Clevelanders having resided in and around the western suburbs.
