About me:
New Concept Percussion is the brainchild of Bruce O'Donal and Scott Leavitt (aka Bongwater), born out of their love, experience, and general addiction to drums. Boasting over 50 years experience collectively on the skins, this move was more than destined. Bruces' impressive resume includes pounding the skins for several bands, including countless live performances, teaching drums at several shop locations, and most recently being hired by world-touring Eric Gosselin for his band "Fierce Atmospheres". Bongwater, no stranger to the world of playing, writing, touring, and all around involvement in all things musical, rounds out the mix.
After realizing that almost no one in northern New-England specialized in refurbishing, cleaning, and fixing drums, the move was a no-brainer! Starting small with many future goals in mind, New Concept Percussion stands poised to revolutionize the future of drum maintenance, design, and customization.
