The combination of childhood vocalist, class clown, and teen jock pretty much sums up my performances over the past 30 yrs. Some of the bands you may have seen me in, Shout, the Stacy Prank Band, the Convertibles, the Surf Boys, and most recently the Toys. I’m excited about my new band and I haven’t forgot where I came from. I’ve been a weekend warrior all my life and I am a blue collar man at heart. You can take the boy out of the factory…but you can’t take the factory out of the boy. Come on out and watch me work!
Rob / Guitar
Rob started playing guitar at age 13 and has been playing on the scene shortly ever since. Playing in bands before age 14, Rob spent most of his youth playing guitar in favor of school work, and started playing professionally fresh out of high school. Rob studied guitar through private instruction including personal instruction from jazz guitar legend Ted Greene. Rob has played a wide variety of music and has performed regularly at clubs, festivals, artist and record label showcases, teaching private instruction and recording in the studio. Rob was a member of the original rock band Tambora and appears on the band’s 1990 recording, Vale of Tears. Tambora was the support act for Nelson, Vixen, Night Ranger, Blue Oyster Cult, Jackyl, Quiet Riot, The Kinks, Cheap Trick and many others.

There’s just something about the floor shaking underneath you while you shove the bass between your legs and run your hand up and down the neck. It’s all about the show that gets me off and that’s why I do what I do.

I started playing and taking lessons at age 8. Played my first gig in Kenosha at "Crazy Days" at age 10. Played in various rock acts along the way. Played full time under Talent Associates with a band called Shout in 1990. and recorded an original CD under the BEYU Music label "IT'S ABOUT TIME" as LOOSE GRAVEL in 1998.
Musical History> Worked Early on with Beatles and Motown. The Police: Ah The Police... The first time I heard that groove, I was hooked!
Musical Tastes> Have most recently been diggin on the Alternative Sound and that 90's influence.
Musical Aspirations> To find my roots. Getting back to the basics in my approach to the kit rhythmically. I would hope to record another album of original material with the like of these blokes. New Dog Trick is the real deal!!!
