Making music is no different than rocket science. You have to map it out. Make a blue-sprint, sketch it out. Let everything fall in its right place. Connect all the lines and control this disaster. You have to make the inner-machine work perfectly inside.
But you also have to focus on the shell. It's must be aerodynamic, yet stable and able to protect its sensitive core. It's understood that we're full of mistakes, but did we learn? Did he learn learn from the one he continues to make? Despite the seemingly mortal flaw, it must framework its spirit and hug it tight; grip it like the night as you hold for dear life.
Shoot off into space amongst all of the stars, with their warmth and their light slowly helping you thaw. But the ice is too strong and wishes to change the nature of the molecules inside. Surely slowing them down, surely slowing their stride. Letting nothing survive, leaving nothing alive
But keep in mind our ideas still continue to grow, and the shell gently covers and blankets the core. Though we won't ever reach our natural deception, we can still walk forever in someone elses' direction. Perfection teases our lips and it tingles your brain, but we still write ideas. Still the same, still the same.
Let us one day make a vessel that speaks for us both, ripping through our surroundings, exposing us for more. We're the same, you and I, and we can accomplish great things; different tongues offer wisdom towards the same solution.
So what is the problem? Why are we trying so hard to solve it? Why build these machines to conquer nightmares and dreams? Once again at the fork; the merging of roads, surprised to say the least, that I stand here alone.
So I'll wait for you here, at both ends of the earth. Waiting for your arrival, so we can return to the dirt. Let's hope that your rocket continues to fly. I'll wait for you here until the end of...
