Four different heads drawing on reference points as diverse as classic guitar pop, alt rock, hip-hop, breakbeat and heavy rock, combine to create a fresh blend of riffs, melodies and hooks.
With influences ranging from The Who and Led Zep, through to Echo and the Bunnymen, Manic Street Preachers, Janes Addiction and contemporary acts like Doves, The New Fear deliver their take on life, love, and the law.
Hailing from satellite towns scattered around Liverpool, The New Fear formed in 2004.
The last 18 months have been spent putting together a solid body of work, whilst honing the live act following our first show at the seminal Crewe Limelight. Higher profile shows have followed in Manchester (Night & Day, Life Cafe, Late Room, Roadhouse and Academy 4) and Liverpool (Zanzibar). However, the live sound would be best appreciated in the Maracana.
