we're actually playing at the westside invite in portland over labour day weekend, but we'll come and be crowned the kings of new england some other time. so many crowns, so little time... thanks though-- and i want to say that i think the "kings of new england" name is awesome, very john irving-esque. we called our last tourney "the northern crown", this is the sport of kings after all...
woah, can't believe you cancelled the tourney, we was gonna fly all the way in from east van so we could be the kings of british columbia *and* new england. really though, it's an honour to be called a stain on the cycling community. it's just so accepted here it's frankly kind of boring, there's nothing left to rail against. next thing you know we'll have lawyers playing on their fucking lunch breaks. out here bike polo is the most consistent and widely attended cycling event in the city with 100+ players a week, rivalled only by the thousands who show up for critical mass. but you dudes, you're the outlaws, the freaks, breaking the barriers... and you're welcome out here anytime my friends.
Here is the low down. Friday night August 31 ALLEYCAT Location and time to be announced followed by pick-up polo and party. Saturday September 1 POLO begins at 10 am for pickups and registration.
