About me:
The church is made up of so many different things, such as the Pastor, the members, and most importantly what is preached. At New Hope Full Gospel Tabernacle we pride ourselves in the people and the love we all share for the Lord. We don't care what you look like, your status in life, what car you drive and how you dress. All that matters is that you have a hunger and desire to serve the Lord. Pastor Ken Pingleton and his wife Cindy are about as simple and down to earth as they come. Pastor Pingleton was born and raised in Indiana but loves his Kentucky roots and is proud of it! Cindy was also born and raised in Indiana, and they look forward to raising all 4 of their children Rachel 15, and triplets Abigail, Elijah and Ariel age 11 in Mooresville.New Hope was founded in 2002. The church has been through it's own share of hard times, there is no doubt about that, but what church doesn't experience that at one time or another says Pastor Pingleton. Since the beginning, things have moved forward and we have become stronger then ever in the Lord and intend to continue to grow.In the last year, New Hope has received some major cosmetic changes. We have added nearly double the space we originally started out with in 2002. We moved into the new sanctuary Sunday, March 25, 2007, and what a service it was in deed. We have also been blessed enough to add a full basement which includes 8 Sunday School rooms, a first for our Sunday School children, as well as bathroom facilities for our missionaries who stop in. We thought this would be a nice service to have for those who have to travel often. Missionaries are able to use our full kitchen in the fellowship hall as well as many other things they may not usually have access to while traveling. We try to make them as at home as possible. We have also added a baptismal which has already been put to great use for anyone who wants to come and dedicate themselves publicly to the Lord and the work he has for them.Our Sunday School program has grown leaps and bounds in the last year. We have started busing in children from as far as Indianapolis. We encourage you to come by and sit in for a service and experience the greatest group of people this side of Heaven. Church services are Sunday 10am, Sunday 6pm and Wednesday at 7pm. We know the future is bright for New Hope and encourage to watch us grow through the coming years.
