The New Infidels are a trio of singer songwriters made up of two siblings, Amanda and Jason Crowe, and Lindsay Sumner. The band was formed in Columbus, Ohio in February 2008. The band performs original music largely influenced by folk and rock from the 1960's as well as today's popular music. The band is driven by solid songwriting, acoustic guitar, and Amanda Crowe's beautiful vocals. Jason Crowe adds additional guitar work and vocals, and Lindsay Sumner brings percussion, piano, harmonica, and a host of other talents to the mix. The end result is a smooth fusion of traditional acoustic music with modern indie rock.
