For the recording of their debut album, 'New Killer Stars' teamed up with producer Mark Robertson (Th' Legendary Shack*Shakers). This album was recorded in the famous Echo Mountain Studio in Asheville (NC), and the Stainless Sound Studio in Nashville (TN), where bands such as 'Band of Horses' and 'Smashing Pumpkins' have also recorded.
On the back of their first EP 'Hebrew Matthew', they played several great festivals including: 'Eurosonic' (Groningen) and 'De Affaire' (Nijmegen). They also opened for Kula Shaker and Dinosaur Jr.
'Hebrew Matthew' received rave reviews from 'Musicfrom.nl' and '3voor12'.
'New Killer Stars' also recently completed their aptly named 'Double Dutch' European tour together with 'Pioneers of Love'.
Their debut album will be released coming fall.

This April we went to the USA for 2 weeks to play some shows and record our debut album.
From there we kept a video-blog and made a new video around every two days.
We taped everything - EVERYTHING - so expect male nudity and lots of curse words (but that's ok - it's all in Dutch).
We're working on a compilation-movie, but until that's done: HAVE FUN WITH THE VLOG!
