New Mercy Morning is an acoustic rock band from New England. They have released two albums since 2004, being "Welcome Weary Travelers" and "Grace & Gratitude." The band is currently writing for a new album and plan on moving forward more into the rock market.
The band technically got it's start when, lead singer, Scott Logan started writing music with, bass player, Scott Anderson. The two formed an acoustic rock band called Three Days Down which got some independent national exposure. As Three Days Down, they performed with artists such Geoff Moore, Seventh Day Slumber, Justin McRoberts, Sara Groves, and Downhere.
In 2003, due to some name issues, the band opted to change their name to New Mercy Morning and released the album, "Welcome Weary Travelers." That album saw some national indie airplay and did very well for the band.
With some line up changes, New Mercy Morning added vocalist Jason Clark to the mix as well as drummer Chris Cyr. Jason sang back up vocals for the band and then they released, "Grace & Gratitude," in 2007.
In late 2007, Chris moved on to another chapter of his life. In October of '07, Scott Logan called good friend John Ferreira to join the band as a drummer and percussion player.
In 2008 New Mercy Morning is now putting together the works for a new album and look to tap more into the rock market. They will be playing a lot more on the road and in September of 2008, launched a new version of their website, www.newmercymorning.com.

Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst. But for that very reason I was shown mercy so that in me, the worst of sinners, Christ Jesus might display his unlimited patience as an example for those who would believe on him and receive eternal life. - Paul the Apostle (1 Timothy 1:14-16)

"Where, O death, is your victory?
Where, O death, is your sting?"
The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain.
1 Corinthians 15:55-58
