The N.M.C. Sessions open-mic is now one of the best in the country to play and Brazil's Cafe Bar one of the best venues, this comes from the artists themselfs. What some artists have said "The last small venue i enjoyed playing this much was the Lobby, Cork" "A great open-mic, the last one i liked this much was the Ruby Sessions, Dublin" A forum for singer/songwriters/composers to perform their work in front of a live audience. We meet the first Wednesday of every month for our N.M.C. Sessions open-mic night and all composers are welcome, be it an original song or music. Our home is Brazil's Cafe Bar, Irishtown, Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, it's the place to be so come along and join in. We are five years supporting original music this year and the club has gone from strenght to strenght in that time. We also run gigs once a month, here are some of the artists who have played the club: Eleanor McEvoy, Tir na Nog, Clive Barnes, Sonny Condell, John Spillane, Juliet Turner, Jimmy Crowley, Louise Killeen, Sarah McQuaid, Mike Hanrahan, Leslie Dowdall, Aine Whelan, Adela Meally, Don Mescall, Martyn Travis Band, Dawn Kenny, Loudest Whisper, Bobbie Carey, Maggie Khiane, Muireann Nic Amhlaoibh, Leanne Harte, etc., so do check us out.
