We are proud that we've been able to help and promote independent music/bands in Finland and our artists such as Rubik, Underwater Sleeping Society, Kastor, Astro Can Caravan, Silvio to name but a few, have gained the focus (and the praise) of the listening audience as well as the music medias in Finland and abroad.
The story continues, new talented bands are around the corner. Join our cause, hear the music.
This is how we do it
New Music Community, a non-profit association established in 2003, is a finnish music community promoting independent artists and bands and providing unique musical experiences to the audience.
We work in co-operation with various finnish indie-labels such as Siamese Sounds, Fonal records, Verdura records, Backstage Alliance, Zerga, Fullsteam Records.
In our website we provide free mp3-singles under the Creative Commons (CC) license. We organize events and sell records in our webshop in co-operation with The Ground. We are also a co-design partner in the University Of Art & Design P2P Fusion project.
Feel free to participate to our good cause of promoting independent artists in Finland: listen to their music, show up when NMC-bands are in town, or just buy their cd.

If you want to do something in addition let us know. STREET TEAMS are needed on your local area, unique and independent bands are always welcome to send their record/demo/sound sample to us.
