    FROM YOUR FRIENDS UP NORTH:

Our Jersey City exhibition is coming up in 2 weeks.
We want to tell your stories!

If you would like to share your Katrina experience, or just write a poem about how wonderful New Orleans is, please send it to NOLApreservation@gmail.com

We will post these stories alongside the artwork being shown to raise awareness about the effects of Katrina, and to celebrate the culture of our neighbors down South.

I was in NOLA last year doing some volunteer work and it's fucking ridiculous that its now 2008 and it's still not restored in full. We can spend billions of money we don't have to kill civilians in iraq but we can't help our own people. Sad.

Great page for a positive cause. With thousands coming together to rebuild, New Orleans is destined to come back bigger and stronger than ever.

While I have been to NOLA many times since Katrina and have seen progress in the tourist areas, I have also went deep into the neighborhoods to help rebuild. There is such little progress there. I am angry that we spend Billions in Iraq and do not rebuild Louisiana. We need to stay angry and spread the word.

    REBUILD LOUISIANA!!!

Thanks for accepting my request. I applaud you for this unique and creative approach to helping New Orleans heal itself. It is always refreshing to come across people who understand the power of media and exercise it for a good cause. I wish you continued success.

    Peace & Love,

    Thanks for supporting the cause!

In the wake of Katrina, we know that Louisiana's coastal crisis means more than the loss of some redfish or blue crabs - it means the difference between a sustainable New Orleans and the next Atlantis - take a moment to click the image above to act now, & please keep spreading the word!

I believe that unarmed truth and unconditional love will have the final word in reality. This is why right, temporarily defeated, is stronger than evil triumphant.
