Interests

  • Music

Soul Rebels, Big Sam's Funky Nation, The Black Crowes, The Rolling Stones, Wreckless Eric, Ray Charles, anything timeless, anything that'll get hips shakin' and hands in the air.
  • Movies

Guy Ritchie's movies, Foreign films, Film Festival flicks you hear about once and never hear of again until you see the single copy in the video store and that light turns on in your head when you've discovered that gem no one else really knows about. I also am a fan of old high-budget films with the ostentatious sets, song&dance numbers and special effects that never would've dreamed of CGI yet have an air of skill about them.

About me:

About Me: OLD NEW ORLEANS RUM IS PROUD TO BE Louisiana Made! Celebration Distillation, located on Frenchmen Street in New Orleans, is the oldest premium rum distillery in the United States. Since the 1700's, the river plantations of Louisiana have made rich blackstrap molasses from the sugar cane grown in the fine soil of the Mississippi Delta. We celebrate this legacy by producing Old New Orleans Rum as a small batch artisan rum.

Celebration Distillation is committed to using simple, high quality ingredients to create our hand crafted single barrel rums. Using premium Louisiana sugar cane molasses in a slow batch process, we achieve a wonderful balance of oak, maple, vanilla, and caramel.

Old New Orleans Rum has won many awards, including a recent GOLD MEDAL for our Amber rum from the American Distilling Institute. Our philosophy is based on an unending search for the best, in the service of celebration! Our goal is to be a valuable expression of the grand Louisiana culinary tradition.

The Distillery is located at:

2815 Frenchmen Street. New Orleans La 70122.

Who I'd like to meet:

Who I'd Like To Meet: Those who will take liberties with the lives they lead. Breaking from the path we're told to follow by the schoolmarms, fathers and sisters, righteous and regal… I’d like to meet you, the one who came from nothing, gained something and gave it back despite what they said would happen when you reached the top…You, who questioned the unspoken rule…very loudly. You, who balked the device, “i before e, except after c,” because it was insufficient and weird… You, who did the right thing, not because it was just, but just because… You who missed the obligatory prom, quinceanera, graduation ceremony to see that band in concert that’d never come through town ever again… You, who would’ve proved them all wrong at your ten-year reunion if you had time in your busy life to have gone back… You, who saw the trajectory path of Fate, lit the fuse and shot off in another direction where you found exploits and adventures, trials and tribulations, that you never would’ve happened upon if you hadn’t have taken those liberties somewhere along the way…
