Newport City Rollers is a multi genre Digital Record Label. I Specialise in creating Breakbeat, Drum and bass, Electronic and Ambient Music. I also dabble in Dub and many other Experimental genres. The Label was set up in 2008 with the intention of releasing quality music.
My name is Robert Parry, and I was born in Newport, South Wales, United Kingdom. I first got into making music about 14 years ago, when the Rave scene was massive. The music back in 1990 was evolving and it soon branched out into various sub genres. Many of which are still popular today. My main tool for music started with the Amiga 500 computer system, made by Commodore. The software package i used was called Octamed and it was tracker based. As the years moved on, I switched to using a PC armed with Logic Audio Platinum. All the Albums I have made have been created with the Logic Audio Music Platform.
