Biography Coming from the 90's coldwave scene and after a model carrer, New Risen starts his solo musical project in 2001. His artist name is a tribute to the English band Eyeless in Gaza.
Singer and song writer, New Risen has created his own musical style with influences from gothic, darkwave, electro-pop sounds enhanced by dark romantic and poetic lyrics.
After publishing songs for various compilations, New Risen has recorded his debut album 'Dark Winter' by the fall of 2007 with Mrlamort from the post-rock gothic band Nova et Vetera. 'Dark Winter' met with great reviews from some international press. "...The album embodies a sombre Gothic fairy-tale nostalgia with haunting theatrical synth melodies, soporific rhythms and accomplished sentimental lyrics. The sound is a spellbinding potion of Gothic, Wave and Pop music. “Dark Winter” is a mesmerising commemoration of New Risen's sole musical reawakening..." (Underground Press- April 2008)
Since then, New Risen has been signed by the digital label distributor Believe, and collabore with some musicians for remixes of his songs (Monochronic, Per Anders Kurenbach, RoMaEs...). Also, his meeting with the film director Hugo Lagorce gave birth to a new video adventure.

Biographie Issu de la scène coldwave nantaise du début des années 90 et après une carrière de mannequin professionnel, New Risen démarre son projet solo en 2001. Son nom d'artiste est choisi en hommage au groupe anglais Eyeless in Gaza.
Auteur-compositeur interprète, New Risen évolue dans un univers musical aux accents gothique, darkwave et electro-pop. Les textes poétiques parlent souvent de romantisme sombre.

New Risen, merci pour ton com constructif que je suis prêt à approuver si tu me le renvoies à l'identique avec "Hello Scarring Fields..." parce qu'il y a parfois des personnes trop intelligentes qui scrutent mon profil.
Tes remarques sont bienvenues et à la hauteur de tes compos qui, et je reste sur mon feeling initial, ont une sonorité très profonde et un chant en rapport. Voilà un bon son électro-gothique ! Pour te rassurer, sache que j'ai amorcé un virage matériel il y a 2 semaines. Mais cela, ce sera pour un futur album.
