Hello! ..We are Crescendo or Jonson Walker and Dan Akerman to our familes, thanks for reading this. ..We started out as a kind of Trip Hop band with a human rhythm section but got bored so now we work with robots, or samplers and drum machines as they're known in other households. We make dusty lofi electro pop and also write a comic that details our adventures through the space time continuum that will be available soon. If you would like a copy message us / get a round in / tell us something that we find amusing and we'll see what we can do. ..We are based in Liverpool and find it quite a laugh playing slacker electronica to students fixated by hair gel, Arctic monkeys and fluoroescent socks. Ecstacy, ecstacy where for art thou, teenage psychedelic experiences? ..We are influenced by a wide range of people like MBV, Beta Band, Chemical Brothers, Flaming Lips, Happy Mondays, The Postal Service and Pavement to name but a few and would like to think we sound like nothing you've heard, for better or for worse. ..We have a friend we have never met called Indie Dad that runs a small rekkid label called I blame the parents records who will be releasing our otherwordly Don't Let Them Tell You What To Do EP. Media types are writing very complimentary scribblings about the EP but we take it as it comes, if it comes at all! We're in this game to build a spaceship and circumnavigate the universe stuffing our face full of tea and jaffa cakes as we do it. Of course you're all invited but we cannot guarantee your safety in the darker reaches of outer space... .. .. .. ..Buy 'The High Infidelity EP' from i-tunes here: ..http://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/high-infidelity-ep/id312662143 .... ..http://www.iblametheparentsrecords.com/shop.htm .... ........ .. ........
