NEW SKINN was formed in 2002 but no one knew what was to come until the final member of this impressive act completed the line up in 2008.
Now with incredible force, Phil G on vocals/rhythm guitar, Chris AKA GreekMan on bass, Greco on lead guitar and Xman on drums, have hit the music scene running and no one/thing can hold them back.
With powerful riffs, shredding leads, Phil G's soaring signature vocals, Xman's intense and untamed beats and GreekMan's cutting edge bass sound, NEW SKINN has brought together a wide range of their influences and developed their own unique sound, that is NEW SKINN.
In 2007 NEW SKINN released their debut EP 'Cause and Effect' which was recorded by none other than producer Jason Bryant, "I've worked with some of the best bands in Australia, and these guys are definitely up there with them... the fact that they've only been together for about 6 or 7 months up is astonishing! They have played with bands such as: Full Scale, Behind Crimson Eyes, Mammal, RooK, Twelve Foot Ninja, Bushido, Ink, Melodyssey, Freestate, Periah, Jericco, E37, Tim McMillan band, Bellusira, Nucleus & Rincon.
NEW SKINN have recieved radio play with 3 of their songs at a US radio station NMM, and their new released single 'Clearview' is out now and has had fans waiting with anticipation. This hard working and talented act has recently sold out venues such as The Evelyn and The Ding Dong Lounge and headlined the 'Here and Now' Festival. They are sure to be a major influence in the rock landscape for years to come.

Things are goin great, our new bass player has fit in really well and we are writing some killa tunes...we just played on Saturday and had about 150-200 there which is great for the venue. Our last gig in the city had a large crowd too so pretty happy at the moment...got a 3 track cd comin out in may-ish and we'll have a big launch for that one...Still wanna head over to Melbourne sometime. azza
