"The days first act was NEW SKOOL KINGS, a punk outfit from orange County who are new to the scene. The lead singer, vaguely muscular, shirtless, loud and still in the clutched of puberty, screamed his way through a ten song set, but he never seemed off key and you could distinguish his words. they were more than competent and had some flair. They blasted through songs with nary a word in between and gave off a real sense of personality. Their witty and mosh friendly chord progression kept things moving while Chad yelled about dogs on ant-depressants and getting "more beer". THEY MAY BE YOUNG AS INDIVIDUALS, AND A BAND, BUT THEY SHOWED MORE RAW ENERGY AND ENTHUSIASM THAN BANDS THAT HAVE BEEN AROUND TEN TIMES AS LONG".

Once every ten or fifteen years an amazing band emerges out of Orange County, California. Social Distortion, Bad Religion, The Offspring, No Doubt just to name a few. The next big name you will hear out of Orange County, California is New Skool Kings. Ranging in age from 17 to 20, this is a band that plays pure punk rock, fast and furious. The attitude is that of a pack of young, hungry animals on the verge of starving to death and on the prowl for raw meat and beer. The pack has already done tours with such bands as The U.S Bombs, Agent Orange and The Briggs showing no signs of weakness in what looks like the beginning of a very long career. New Skool Kings has had air time on Sirius Satellite radio, and Joe Sibb’s “Complete Control” 103.1 FM. Going as far as Costa Rica they filmed their first video single in 2006, “Authority” then returned in 2007 for the first annual punk fest with Guttermouth sponsored by Volcom and VM Latino. They released their first full length CD “Here to Stay” in 2007 world wide, produced by Keri Kelli and Scott Sheldon. Their song “Here to Stay” was also featured on No Lip Vol. 1 Punk Rock compilation. In the summer of 2008 they joined Guttermouth on a tour across the U.S. as first support. They are currently playing shows locally and working on their next album with Keri Kelli. Be aware and on the lookout for the new kings of Punk Rock, New Skool Kings!
