DOWNLOAD NewsPox DAILY PODCASTS FROM iTUNES or give our blog a read - it's about the news, not what we had for tea last night.
NewsPox is the magnificent creation of Michelle and Zena. Our Mission? We're glad you asked. Our mission is to dissect the days news and look through the newspapers for interesting and funny stories. The sort of thing that most paper reviews skip over because it's not highbrow enough, but it's what we all want to know. NewsPox has been going for over 2 years and we still haven't found anything better to do with our time.
The NewsPox podcasts are currently hitting the news stands on Mondays, Tuesday and Wednesdays and the podcasts are about 30 minutes long. You can download them from iTunes, or listen online via www.itsalrightforsome.com
The MySpace blog is a companion piece to the podcast, but both can be enjoyed separately. There is no need to panic.
GUARANTEED - if you listen to this there will be no need for you to ever pick up a newspaper again. Which will save you getting inky fingers and straining your eyes. We are so good to you.
In other news:
We actually run two businesses, when we aren't looking askance at the news with our comical satrical eyes:
Zena likes Green, Smash (with gravy), Louis Theroux, The Housemartins, Shackleton and cheese.
Michelle likes NOTHING. Also tea, cakes, House, The Apprentice, pigeons and the word 'segue'.
Who I'd like to meet:
Future husbands, Handsome Princes, Antartic explorers (from the last century), Politicians (ones that don't spit when they talk) and brilliant Doctors who are cynical, angry and dishevelled experts in diagnostics and have a gammy leg, someone from SKEGNESS, Jim Chimery, Bob Loblaw

I NEED YOUR PARTICIPATION! First of all, I want to thank everyone for all the wonderful messages that I receive on a daily basis. I try my best to answer all of them as soon as I can, so please be patient with me.
I hope everyone had a wonderful summer. I spend the summer writing and translating songs for my upcoming CD. I'm so excited I can't wait till February when my first single comes out. I would also like to bring back some classic standards and for that I need your help. I need all of my friends to send me a list of songs, standards or romantic pop that you would like to see come back. Hopefully, songs that have not been recorded in the past 10 years. I will than pick the top 10 from your submissions and have you vote again. I can't think of a better way of extending our friendship than to share part of the process of creation with my new friends. I am looking forward to your participation.
invite you to come and see us play live on 14 oct 2008
