Thankyou to all of those who gave us the inspiration to continue on our path to now and with a heavy heart we say fairwell to the newstone chapter. Thankyou to those who bought one of our Ep's, supported a live show or spread the word that we where a good band! 2003 - It Begin's
'Demoing' and recording begins in early 2003
2004 - 1st EP' (secret men's business)
Halfway through recording their first EP', the four piece realised the strength of Keyboard's and Piano in contemporary music (Enter Borce).
2005 - 2nd EP' (let the people decide)
Early 2005 newstone recorded and released their second EP'. 150+ shows.
2004/05 - newstone committed to improving in both performance and song writing. Collaborating over the rest of 2005 and into 2006 penning another 40 yet to be released demos.

2006 -
Craig played 50+ Solo/Duo shows around Sydney, Wollongong, Newcastle and Interstate.
newstone tour Perisher Valley for the Australian snow season 06'. Selling CD's, T-shirts and handing out their renowned magnets…
Mid 2006 –
Craig makes the TOP 100 of Australian Idol 06', wrapped to make it past the tough judging of Marsha, Kyle & Mark especially on the basis of his original songs 'Single life' & newie 'You couldn’t tell me'. Over 20,000 people tried out.
Craig makes the TOP 10 of the Telstra Road to Tamworth competition in 'Frankston' (Melbourne). Over 13,000 people auditioned via the internet.
Craig win's a Maton Master sound Electric guitar ($2000+) in a song writing competition launched in Sydney's Northern Suburbs.
December – 2006 newstone ‘TRIO’ record their first LIVE recording @ BARME in Sydney's red light district, Kings Cross. An experiment gone ‘right’ the special night was captured in full Stereo sound not yet released…
2007 –
newstone featured on 'Street TV' for Vodafone LIVE, April 07'.
2008 - Hiatus
2009' - newstone have kept their live chops polished, playing gigs around Sydney and Wollongong as the Matchbox 20 cover show, 'Mad Season', just for a bit of fun. Go to www.matchboxtwentyshow.com.au for more dates.

newstone will leave the myspace account up for historical value. Craig Woodward will be focussing on his solo projects and work as guitarist and singer with newly formed country/folk/rock act 'The Blackbirds'.
