The many groups and artists I have listened to over the years, with my own take of course.
Kevin Dingle “AKA” Motown Moe is a Metro Detroit Keyboard player and Producer. As a youngster Motown Moe took piano, guitar, and sax lessons, but soon sports would enter into his life and music playing would take a back seat. Moe entered the military after completing grade school and would once again develop a strong urge to play an instrument the choice was piano and keyboard. Moe began creating and recording material in the early 90’s and has never stopped. Moe has led a true Detroit blue collar life after leaving the military first working in a steel pipe plant in Burlington New Jersey for a few years, returning back to Detroit and working an auto assembly line for six years, while finishing up his military career as a reservist and retiring in 2005. The name Motown Moe came from his middle name of Maurice, hence “Moe” for short and Motown from his Detroit up bringing. As an Independent artist Motown Moe began to use the inter-net as a way to showcase his music. This led to the development of a large jazz fan base, this helped Moe’s decision in June 2008 to release first CD/EP “Blu For U” an enjoyable mix of chill, electro & smooth jazz the release can be found @ www.cdbaby.com/cd/motownmoe it’s enjoyed success and radio plays world wide, it featured guest artist saxophone player Martin Sharpe of London. In January of 2009 Moe released a second CD/EP “Metro Dreams” which can be found @ www.cdbaby.com/cd/motownmoe2 Moe’s second release within a year featured guest artist guitarist James Davis of Nashville. This CD has more of an Adult Contemporary theme along with electro & smooth jazz sounds. Motown Moe has embarked upon a new release “Romance And A Full Moon” released September 2009 and has stayed with the cool and romantic instrumental edge, this time Motown Moe has added more great musicians on collaborations, DF Michael of Kalamazoo, MI is playing guitar on two tracks, Randy Sherwood of Destin, FL and fellow Air Force retiree is playing saxophone on two songs, James Davis once again appears on guitar, and special guest 3 Days of Sea-Tac area produced and plays a piano solo on a track. The new CD/EP can be found on iTunes and Amazon music sites along with www.songcastmusic.com/profiles/Motownmoe . Motown Moe is currently working on a new project and has teamed up with super talented Producer & Keyboardist Nate Harasim of the group De’ Nate for a couple of tracks and also has a track in the works with great French guitarist Daniel Domenge. The new CD/EP will highlight Motown Moe’s professional growth and experience and as a artist and producer, as it has evolved during the past few years, and promises to be a surprise and exciting release for 2010. Moe is always looking forward to working with other artists and producers known or unknown, feel free to drop him a e-mail here, if you are “serious” minded.

Motown Moe, Thanks for accepting my request at this other page of mine. By the way, I found my visit to your page to be quite enjoyable. You have some well-crafted tunes that have the right combination of groove and substance. Also, your stuff is smooth but still funky. It would be very cool to collaborate with you at some future point.
