Joshua Cole was born in Washington D.C. to Curtis and Sandy Cole. During his childhood he sang on the youth choir at his church, Union Belle Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA. Eventually he moved on and settled at the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Baptist church under the then leadership of Overseer William P. Brown, where he also served as a singer on the youth praise team and choir.
By the age of 12 Joshua learned to play the piano under the tutelage of three great men of God, Elder James Samuels, Psalmist Eric Armstead and Alex Pendleton. A little over a year later Joshua was appointed to serve as Minister of Music for the Mt. Zion Full Gospel Cathedral located in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Joshua Served at Mt. Zion and under the leadership of Archbishop William E. Brown for an estimated amount of ten years as Minister of Music, Armorbearer and assistant to the Archdiocese of Fredericksburg. In 2006 Joshua was appointed as Minister of Music for the Archdiocese of Fredericksburg and in August 2007 was appointed by Archbishop William E. Brown as the Director of Music for the Fellowship of Independent and Global Churches and Ministries Inc, and led Praise and Worship and organized the Convocation Praise Team and Band.
Under the direction of God he transitioned his ministry under the leadership of Archbishop Joshua P. Logan and was appointed as Assistant Minister of Music and Musical Director at the Church of the Promised Land, Capitol Heights, MD.
Joshua Cole is also an aspiring recording artist, writer and composer. His first studio release is slated for release in 2009 with songs such as, “Awesome God”, “I Will Do A New Thing In You Ft. Anthony Campbell, and Overseer Paulette R. Brown” and “He Gave Me Life”. He has preformed before such artists as Stephen A. Hurd, Jonathan Nelson, Professor Wilbur Belton, Bryan Wilson, and others.
Min. Cole considers himself the Uncanny Worshipper. “Uncanny simply means too strange or inhuman. Worship is a lifestyle. I live my life in a strange way, people ask me how do I stay so happy, you smile too much, why am I always singing? It’s because of my uncanny worship, everything I do or witness, believe it or not I have a song for it, that’s my worship!”

Thank you so much for being apart of our humble little network, My name is Pastor Frank Michael Woetko Sr.,Blessed Love- May you find serenity and tranquility in a world you may not always understand. May the pain you have known and the conflict you have experienced give you the strength to walk through life facing each new situation with courage and optimism. Always know that there are those whose love and understanding will always be there, even when you feel most alone. May you discover enough goodness in others to believe in a world of peace. May a kind word, a reassuring touch, and a warm smile be yours every day of your life, and may you give these gifts as well as receive them. Remember the sunshine when the storm seems unending. Teach love to those who hate, and let that love embrace you as you go out into the world. May the teachings of those you admire become part of you, so that you may call upon them. Remember, those whose lives you have touched and whose have touched yours are always a part of you, even if the encounters were less than you would have wished. It is the content of the encounter that is more important than the form. May you not become too concerned with material matters, but instead place immeasurable value on the goodness in your heart. Find time each day to see beauty and love in the world around you. Realize that each person has limitless abilities, but each of us is different in our own way. What you feel you lack in the present may become one of your strengths in the future. May you see your future as one filled with promise and possibility. Learn to view everything as a worthwhile experience. May you find enough inner strength to determine your own worth by yourself, and not be dependent on an others judgment of your accomplishments. May you always feel loved. I am honored to call you my friend!

LOL at "Oily"...lol. It was all good because the music was loud and there was so much going on so it was all good. Not a problem at all. He wouldn't have been concerned about it anyway...children! LOL.
I had a great time and it provided a wonderful opportunity for me to explain some things to my son about the history of the church and its customs and the changes that have altered denominations and "churchisms". Thank you for the invite and I look forward to returning and worshipping with you and your home church.
