About me:
I'm a left-handed guitar playing bluegrass singer from Missouri. I have two great sons. Jeremy, my oldest is a professional banjo player with a band called Michelle Nixon and Drive based in Virginia. My younger son J.R. is a talented baseball pitcher currently attending the University of Arkansas Little Rock on a baseball scholarship. I am married to their mother Terri without whom I would not know what to do. I'm lucky to be alive today as I had a double lung transplant 8 years ago due to a genetic disorder. I play with a bluegrass band in the Kansas City area called Green Side Up(www.greensideup.org) and I have also played in a number of other bands here in the midwest.

Actually, I've met most of my bluegrass heroes... at least the ones that are still alive... but I enjoy meeting new people.. even if they're not bluegrassers!
