Ralphie's DJ career began in New York back in the 80s playing in almost every hot spot from Brooklyn to Manhattan. Clubs like THE PALLADIUM, THE LIMELIGHT and THE RED ZONE. He was also a part of the Rave explosion in the early 90?s with fellow DJ?s FRANKIE BONES, TOMMY MUSTO, LENNY DEE and VICTOR SIMONELLI. It was Frankie?s STORM RAVE parties that officially kicked off the scene in the U.S. and Ralphie played at some early events. With the success of MAJOR PROBLEMS / OVERDOSE which hit the record mirror charts in 1990 he first caught the eyes of British promoters and was booked with LENNY DEE to play at HEAVEN in London. Then after the smash THE REALM he started getting booked almost every weekend in France, Germany, Holland, England, Scotland, Belgium, Switzerland, Italy and the U.S.. Some of the clubs he?s played include COCORICO in Italy, THE ROXY in Amsterdam, THE REX CLUB in Paris, CLUB UK in London and NARCISSUS in Bangkok. Ralphie has also played at some of the biggest raves in the world like the ENERGY, DREAMSCAPE events in Switzerland, REZZERECTION in Scotland, DIGITAL OVERDOSE, HELLRAISER in Holland and POWERPLAY in Belgium. Radio stations all over the world have featured his DJ sets as well as interviews in magazines like, FRONTPAGE, RAVELINE, GROOVE and TEN DANCE in Germany. In 1997 Ralphie appeared on the first ever interactive cd rom called AUTHENTIC, THE TECHNO REFERENCE. His music and interview appear along with CARL COX, LAURENT GARNIER, JOEY BELTRAM, JEFF MILLS, MISS DJAX and DERRICK MAY. As of September 2002 he began working for UDG / Ultimate DJ Gear overseeing the U.S. operations and has been working on tracks for his label New York Grooves, while starting to take more DJ gigs .
