Nexo nace a principios de junio de el 2007; La banda en sus comienzos estuvo conformada por Johann Rendón en el bajo y la voz, por Luis Carlos en la guitarra, por oscar aponte en la batería y Felipe tous en la otra guitarra, a raíz de que se empezó a buscar un vocalista independiente Johann Rendón salio y entro Nicolas Archila en la Voz y Carlos Galvis en el bajo (año 2008) y a comienzos del 2009 entra Carlos guzmán teniendo un gran acople y desempeño como musico y bajista en la banda. Antiguamente la banda se caracterizaba por su sonido inspirado hacia el punk-rock, en estos momentos ha evolucionado a un sonido más alternativo, y con más fuerza. En este año la banda se encuentra haciendo giras promociónales por toda la ciudad, por colegios y sitios de gran atracción de publico, además se encuentra en pre-producción de su EP el cual contara con 5 canciones, la primer canción que empezara a sonar será el 2do sencillo (lo que nunca escuchaste).
